Proptek is a market leader in air pruning propagation products, supplying reprocessed polypropylene injection moulded trays to nurseries worldwide. Therefore, when looking to diversify their portfolio, Proptek engaged Glenelg’s services due to our experience in design for injection moulding. We continue to refine the existing range and add further trays and containers to meet the needs of customers worldwide.

Proptek also make use of our validation services. By running FEA on trays during the development process we ensure that they can withstand their intended use at elevated temperatures within greenhouses. In addition, Glenelg handle the design and implementation of bespoke rigs to validate functionality of manufactured product.

Finally, Proptek utilise our 3D visualisation capabilities throughout the development process. Sharing photo realistic images with key stakeholders allows both quick and informed feedback, whereas a CAD screenshot can lack clarity and sharing models may be cost or time prohibitive. Additionally, we furnish both Proptek and their customers with detailed marketing animations to highlight key functionality and product benefits.
