Patlock
Glenelg were approached to provide a design solution to counteract the threat of ‘lock snapping’ in french doors and conservatories. The result, Patlock, is recommended by police forces and crime prevention organisations UK wide. It is a simple and elegant design that provides a strong visual deterrent.
By utilising our contacts in China we facilitated manufacturing of the initial batch of product. Patlock’s popularity (driven by recognition on national TV shows including Dragons Den) has led to increased customer demand. Consequently, we have also overseen production scale-up to meet this new requirement.
Glenelg continue to expand the product range. We have developed ‘Lock Lock’ – a fully patented, integrated solution that eliminates ‘lock snapping’ as a weakness inherent in french door handles.
